Place Louis Riel All-Suite Hotel is a respected leader in the hotel industry, specializing in developing internal leadership through mentoring programs. Marina Kulba, General Manager, benchmarked standards for the privately owned Hotel in Human Resources Development, Economic Growth, and Community Tourism Development. In the early 1990’s, she actively recruited Aboriginal employees to work at the hotel giving them opportunities for career pathing and training. The Hotel’s role in the Aboriginal community has now expanded to include business-mentoring advice, youth programming support, and purchasing support to Aboriginal entrepreneurs. Place Louis Riel is a dedicated supporter of Aboriginal economic development and community initiatives that support the improvement of ‘quality of life’ along with youth leadership programming and education and training.
